1 more week til Christmas! 🎅😱🎄
Hoping that sentence brings excitement and a sigh of relief that you feel prepared… but I’m sure it also brings a slight feeling of panic as there are always last minute things to do! Either way, take a few minutes with the kids to make this adorable watercolor craft before you get busy with the shopping, traveling, cooking, & etc.
It’s easy to get wrapped up in the holiday madness and forget what it’s all about. No matter what you celebrate, it’s important to continue shaping those little minds. Simple crafts for kids are a great way to teach new skills while connecting with them. These simple watercolor decorations work on basic but important skills of coloring, watercolor painting & cutting. It’s also a great time to just sit down and discuss what the holidays mean to your family and also just make them feel special with some one-on-one time.
These decorations can be easily turned into ornaments, a garland, or gift tags. All you need are a hole punch and some ribbon!
Here’s what you’ll need:
1. Draw shape(s) on paper with white crayon.
2. Apply watercolor paint over entire shape. Let dry.
3. Cut around shape.
