Easter Crafts for Kids

With spring around the corner (woo hoo!), it’s time for some Easter themed crafts! It’s been a long winter stuck inside with kids, and we have done every craft and activity available on the internet – OK, not really, but it feels like it. These marker dyed Easter eggs are a fun twist on the traditional dyed egg. And parents, you’ll love this craft and the minimal mess it leaves behind as the dye is created from markers and a clear vinegar/water mixture in a spray bottle.

If your kids are anything like mine, they are obsessed with spray bottles. My husband has one filled with water for the plants and I will randomly find things soaked with spritzes of water. Thank goodness for child locks on the cleaning supply cabinet!

Easter Crafting with Kids

Along with this being a great time filler, your child will get to release their inner Picasso and draw anything they want on a paper towel. We’re getting wild around here! The crazier the pattern, the better. This is also a great opportunity to have your child’s full attention to discuss what Easter means to your family. Or turn the discussion into a science lesson to include the seasonal changes that occur during spring. Either way, this will surely become a family favorite tradition for years to come.
